Where this loom belongs.

Choose it when your planned single-width warp is no wider than 24 inches, with enough room for the full frame and the weaving motion. If 24 inches is your desired finished width, make a sample and allow for draw-in and finishing before calling it a match.

What comes with it.

Ashford lists a 7.5-DPI reed, two stick shuttles, threading hook, warping peg, clamps, cardboard warp sticks and a learning booklet with the current Standard. Assembly is required; the beech is unfinished. Seller bundles and used items can differ; reconcile the exact box contents before adding duplicates.

The accessory path.

Select reeds for the Ashford Standard family at this weaving width. The RHLSV stand is adjustable across the 16-, 24- and 32-inch Standard models; it excludes SampleIt and the 48-inch Standard.

Current Standard looms have the second-heddle support option. For used equipment, inspect the blocks: pre-November-2018 looms can need the RH2HK kit as well as an additional matching reed.

What we have not established.

We have not measured ease of assembly, weaving comfort, cloth quality or long-term durability. The complete Ashford frame footprint is not verified in this catalog. Our guidance connects published facts to a project decision; it is not a hands-on verdict.
